Art Gallery Trip
All 5 of the Tōtara classes have visited the Art Gallery over the last week. We learnt about drawing techniques and applied our new knowledge and skills into a pastel art piece.

Week 6 in Room 18 and 19
It's been a busy week with Beach Ed, the Cultural Celebration and the final 3 Peaks challenge. We are looking forward to our trip to the art gallery on Monday, the Performing Arts evening and Golfing at Kaiapoi Golf course next week too!
Today we looked at Stained Glass Art by Dale Chihuly and were inspired to make our own bowls. They turned out great! We also learned to play a game called 'Dama' and used our bowls to keep the counters in.

Golf in Schools
We enjoyed the opportunity to learn a new activity this week when 'Mr B' from Kaiapoi Golf Club came to teach us Golf.
We look forward to developing our skills over the next 2 sessions.
